Nissan Ariya 2024 Achieves Impressive Performance with Fresh Nismo Upgrades

The Nissan Ariya model has evolved significantly in recent years, and now it takes a leap forward with high-performance updates from Nismo. The brand recently unveiled this version at the Tokyo Motor Show.

External Changes

The external updates on the new car are quite evident. The front end has become more aggressive, thanks to the redesigned front bumper with an air dam and red accents. These accents extend to the modified and prominent side skirts, aligning with the new 20-inch aluminum wheels.

The rear end undergoes the most significant modifications, featuring a rear wing connected to the roof and another linked to the tailgate. The company has added a glossy black bumper with some red accents.

Performance Updates

The new Nissan Ariya Nismo edition will come in two variants of the transmission system:

  • Nismo B6 e-4ORCE Base Model: It will produce 362 horsepower and 560 Newton-meters of torque. This power comes from its two electric motors and the 66-kilowatt-hour battery.
  • Nismo B9 e-4ORCE Model: Equipped with a larger 91-kilowatt-hour battery, this variant boasts a horsepower of up to 429 with a torque of 600 Newton-meters.

The brand has not released specific acceleration figures, but it is worth noting that the new edition will feature the Nismo driving mode, providing more responsive handling on the roads. Additionally, it is involved in the Formula E championship, and the company emphasizes that this edition excels in performance on curves.
