Jeep Wagoneer S Electric: A High-Powered Electric Vehicle with Plenty of Touchscreens

The fully electric Jeep Wagoneer S is nearing the production phase, allowing us to get a glimpse of the interior design and its new features. For those unfamiliar with the reason behind the significant attention surrounding this vehicle, it marks Jeep’s first fully electric car, set to be fully unveiled later this year.

Jeep has shared a set of images of the new electric SUV, and for those who appreciate a tech-filled interior, this vehicle might be the right choice, equipped with four modern touchscreens.

As evident in the images, there is a screen behind the steering wheel to provide the driver with all driving information in addition to navigation. To its right, there is the central entertainment screen, and there is a third screen dedicated to the passenger in the front seat. It’s worth noting that each of these screens comes in a large size with high clarity.

Below these screens, there is an elegant and unique blue-colored lighting strip that separates them from the last screen dedicated to controlling seat heating and cooling systems, among other features.

Based on what we’ve seen in the new images of the cabin, operating and controlling all internal systems will be closely tied to these touchscreens.

In another image, we noticed more interesting elements; the vehicle will feature a McIntosh sound system with 19 speakers. Additionally, the car will have a Selec-Terrain system for choosing driving modes according to preference. The company also mentioned the presence of a double panoramic sunroof as a standard feature.

The performance of the electric Jeep Wagoneer S might attract a considerable portion of buyers as well, as it boasts a power output of 600 horsepower and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, making it one of the fastest SUVs in the world.

Like many details the company has not disclosed yet, we still don’t know the specifications of the transmission system, such as the battery and others, except that the car uses the STLA platform with the standard 4xe badge four-wheel-drive system.

The Jeep Wagoneer S is likely to be available for sale in the fall of this year, and until then, more details are expected to be revealed.
